Bio

Hello,

I’m Clément, a French filmmaker who has called Berlin home since 2017.

Drawn to this city by my love for music and the arts, I’ve had the privilege to professionally nurture my passion for imagery, soundscapes, motion, and the interplay of lights and colors through filmmaking and videography.

My journey into filmmaking began as early as I can recall, tinkering with my parents’ first digital camera during my early teenage years. When I arrived in Berlin about ten years later to work in the music industry as event and communication manager, I started to capture the energy of concerts, festivals, performances and live recording sessions that we were organising.

It wasn’t long before I realized that filmmaking and videography served as the perfect conduit for bridging my cultural passions with my curiosity about journalism and politics. My immersion in the cultural scene revealed to me the potential of visual storytelling to amplify voices and shed light on important societal issues.

In the same time, wishing to deepen my technical knowledge i joined the Cinematography class of the biggest self organized filmschool from Europe, the FilmArche. Which gave me the opportunity to work on short and feature films as Director of Photography, 1AC and Gaffer, allowing me to gather a global understanding of the magic of cinema production.

Driven by a desire to advocate for positive change in a world grappling with environmental and social injustices, I’ve found purpose in utilizing my craft to inspire dialogue and foster understanding.
Like my documentary for Green Forum in Madagascar that was screened at the Global Green Congress 2023.

Today, as an artist present in the music, dance and theater scene in Berlin, I am committed to continuing my work in the cultural realm to broadcast art as the power-fullest transformative tool it is while also lending my skills to companies and projects, striving to make a meaningful impact through my visual storytelling.
