Hello,
I’m Clément, a French filmmaker based in Berlin since 2017.
Drawn to the city by a deep connection to music and the arts, I’ve built my practice around visual storytelling, exploring the relationship between image, sound, movement, light, and color.
I started filming at a young age with the first digital camera of my parents, but my work really took shape after moving to Berlin, where I worked in the music industry as an event and communications manager. Alongside this role, I began documenting the concerts, performances, and recording sessions we organized, which quickly opened the door to working on larger productions and festivals.
Wanting to strengthen my technical skills, I joined FilmArche, the biggest self-organized school in Europe, where I worked on short and feature films as Director of Photography, 1st AC, and gaffer, building a solid understanding of the technical filmmaking process.
My work is driven by an interest in culture, social issues, and environmental questions. I aim to create films that not only document but also engage and spark dialogue, such as a documentary I directed for Green Forum in Madagascar, screened at the Global Green Congress 2023 in Seoul.
Today, I collaborate with artists across Berlin’s music, dance, and theater scenes, while also working with brands and organizations to bring meaningful stories to life through visual media.
